I believed those T.V. Shows growing up.

I trusted the characters would ultimately be good to one another.

flaws were only lessons not yet learned and empathy ultimately wins.

In reality it was just escapism.

The audience needed a break from life’s true weight.

A nostalgic “everything will be fine”.

I bought into the lie and maybe life is like that.

Everything will be fine.
